The inspiration for this artwork comes from my narrative of the Stickmen collection, humans in the future who face an apocalyptic event set to cause their complete extinction. Confronted with inevitable and imminent destruction, those forced to remain on Earth seek refuge in caves, where they mark their final thoughts on the stone walls. Other humans risk the perilous journey into outerspace, where their future is bleak but undetermined.
This artwork is for those who love our planet Earth, nature and science, and who also appreciate fantasy, escapism and adventure.
