This painting explores the idea of a greater intelligence, one that may be no more benificent or coherent than we are. Coincidence, chaos, randomness and chance… As humans we seek to ascribe meaning, searching for the ultimate theory, losing ourselves in the numbers.
They calculated. Years of silence, eons, gigayears. How long could the human race endure? We craved a wordless void, to hear no other voice, no interruption, to traverse the great wall of grief until the end of time, and dwell forever in the black hole of our loss...
